"Introducing our 100% Mencía wine, sustainably grown in estate and select local vineyards, and produced with a fermentation and 5-month sur lie aging process in stainless steel. This limited-edition wine, with only 1000 cases produced, is a testament to the care and dedication of the brothers Gonzalo and Daniel Amigo, who tend to less than 7 acres of head-trained vines on steep granite slopes without the use of sprays.
The wine's intense, nearly opaque color is unmistakably Mencía and hints at the exotic nose and deep mix of sweet and savory notes of toffee and licorice. The concentration of flavor is balanced by high-acid, floral, and earth elements, creating a unique sensory experience."
