About the Wine

The wine is lively and fresh with aromas of apple blossom, fresh citrus and peaches. The palate is textured with ripe peaches, pineapple and faint hints of vanilla.

Vintage

2021 was a dry and cooler vintage in Monterey County. This lead to smaller high quality fruit clusters packed with concentrated flavors.

Vineyard

Our Chardonnay grapes are sourced from some of the finest vineyards within Monterey County.

About the Winemaker:

Renowned winemaker, Jim Milone, crafts, blends and bottles Matthew Fritz in Healdsburg, Sonoma County. Jim grew up in the vineyards of his grandfather’s winery in Mendocino County and currently lives in Northern Sonoma. His excellent relationships with wineries and growers throughout California are invaluable to our vineyard sourcing.

About the Founder:

Growing up in Ohio with a family heavily involved in supply and distribution, wine and food were always at the forefront for Matt Bonanno. He cut his teeth in the industry early in life and his story is the BonAnno Wine Story.

Today, Matt lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters, ultimately splitting his time between Chicago and Napa Valley/Sonoma. As a family, they are closely tied to the business. Matt has always enjoyed cooking and has a passion for bringing friends and family together with wine and food. That tradition only seems to continue as his daughters have started taking over his kitchen.
